Cuda Tools, Inc. is a manufacturing and wholesale distribution company. The company was originally founded in 1969, by one of the present owners, Steve Nance. The primary business at that time was the reclamation of scrap tungsten carbide.

In 1993 John Greenwell joined the company. John had been in the mining industry for 20 years with Pyro mining company, serving in various management positions. Together they formed Cuda Tools Inc. Cuda still manufactures tungsten carbide roof bits for the mining industry. We are a wholesale distributor for various products serving both mining and construction. Some products are listed below.

  • All sizes of roof bits (new and retip)
  • Hex tubing (7/8 and 11/8)
  • All component parts to accompany the hex steel
  • Also a full line of chucks for pinning machines

Cuda Tools has become a manufacturer of top quality crushed tungsten carbide for hardfacing applications. We sell on a direct basis and are able to pass on significant savings to our customers. Cuda Tools supplies crushed tungsten carbide products for hardfacing in the 8 through 325 mesh range. We customize particle size to meet customer specification. Our product is manufactured exclusively from clean tungsten carbide, and we process only non-brazed material. As a direct result our chemical analysis is predictable. The product is very consistent in terms of cleanliness, chemical composition and particle size. We provide strict quality assurance, as our entire inventory is hand sorted to remove foreign material prior to crushing.
